Come and discover the SOLEIL Synchrotron facility, a masterpiece of light and matter! Come and see for yourself one of the two synchrotrons in France, in Saint-Aubin in the Essonne!
On a 2.5-hour tour, a scientific guide will explain to you how the SOLEIL synchrotron works
The guide will present the historic background of this exceptional facility that opened in 2006 at the Plateau de Saclay. You’ll be able to take a tour of the research centre: the synchrotron building, the control room and the experimental hall.
Finally, you’ll get the chance to see with your own eyes the different beamlines that fascinate researchers from across the globe.
The concept of the oil-free fryer was developed at SOLEIL.
